Bank of America Names New Market Executive

Mary Noor is stepping into the role of Phoenix Market Executive for Bank of America. Scott Vanderpool, Bank of America Market President, had filled this role for several years, in addition to serving as market president, and more recently stepping back into Business Banking and taking on the role of Market Executive for that line of business last year. 

In this highly visible role with Bank of America, Mary will be working closely with the bank’s local market leaders across our eight lines of business to help them better integrate and connect area businesses, families, and individuals to the full breadth of what our company has to offer. More specifically, she will be responsible for driving market strategy and growth for the bank across the Valley, employee engagement and corporate reputation. She will also oversee community partnerships, sponsorships and philanthropy in Phoenix. 

Mary has been with Bank of America since 2011 and brings more than 20 years of financial services industry experience to the roll. She previously served as the Market Executive for the bank’s Ventura/Santa Barbara, CA market. An advocate for women in leadership, Mary serves as a segment chair for the bank’s employee network LEAD for Women. 

Mary is a California native who earned her bachelor’s degree in public administration from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in business administration from University of Phoenix.  She is currently relocating to Phoenix from California with her husband and looking forward to being closer to family in the area.
