In addition to the new partnership, Tempe Marketplace is also delighted to announce it has officially relaunched ASU Steals & Deals for students in the area. Collaborating with Waymo, Tempe Marketplace and Vestar are set to continue providing guests with the highest standard of service and entertainment in addition the return of ASU Steals & Deals discounts for ASU students.

This new way of ride-hailing offers a more sustainable and efficient mode of transportation and allows all riders to feel secure and safe with each trip.
Beginning this month, Tempe Marketplace is teaming up with Waymo to offer all visitors of the popular shopping destination exclusive ride-share discount as part of the ASU Steals & Deals program. Kicking off the collaboration this August, ASU students are encouraged to take a Waymo to Tempe Marketplace; those who ride will receive 25% off their first ride. Further, into the fall season, guests can prepare for opportunities to receive on-site promo codes from Waymo, free ride giveaways, free lunches at Tempe Marketplace, and more.
Tempe Marketplace kicked off the Waymo partnership by offering one lucky ASU student an opportunity to win a $1,000 dorm room glow up. The team provided the student with a free round-trip Waymo ride to Tempe Marketplace and a $1,000 shopping spree and lunch at the shopping district.
To round out the relaunch of ASU Steals & Deals, Tempe Marketplace will also offer a variety of deals throughout the entire school year from over 30 retailers. Some deals include 20% off select services at Amazing Lash Studio, 20% off food at Bar Louie, discounts on admission at Harkins Theatres, 50% off select food at Lumberjaxes and more.
