Mint Cannabis officially opens its fourth Arizona dispensary, located near the I-17 and Northern Ave. in Phoenix by giving back to local Veterans this past Veterans day.
The Mint donated to Friends of Freedom, a Phoenix-based nonprofit that helps members of the military and Veterans locally by assisting them with rent, utilities, car repairs, military transition (employment search, building resumes, and purchase of job-required equipment to include suits), and even donated cars.
In addition, all four Mint dispensary locations in Arizona (two in Phoenix, one in Guadalupe/Tempe, and one in Mesa) doubled their year-round Veteran discount (which is typically 22%) to 44% on Friday, Nov. 11.
The Mint’s newest dispensary location in Phoenix will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
“Since our inception in 2016, we have been on a smart, steady growth trajectory in Arizona,” said Eivan Shahara, Co-Founder and CEO of Mint Cannabis. “We plan to continue to grow and expand our brand. We hope to broaden our footprint by opening additional dispensaries in the state during the next few years.”
“A big part of the reason for our growth is our commitment to innovation. We are always looking for new ways to serve patients and customers,” said Shahara. “We also currently have some open positions to fill due to our growth. We aim to provide the highest-quality service and product, invest in the communities we serve, raise the bar through innovation, and break down cannabis stigmas to improve the reputation of the industry in Arizona.”
Mint Cannabis continues to expand its presence across the country with state-of-the-art facilities. With a reputation for providing a wide variety of high-quality products and personalized service, the Mint offers the most diverse selection of flower/buds, edibles, and concentrates. The Mint’s flagship location in Guadalupe/Tempe, Ariz. – which introduced the nation’s first cannabis kitchen of its kind in 2018; added a large on-site grow in 2019; and implemented an on-site drive-thru in 2020 – was named “Most Innovative” by the international Commercial Cannabis Awards. With more than 262 employees at its Tempe, Phoenix and Mesa locations, the Mint is poised to open an additional dispensary in Phoenix by the end of this year, in addition to new cultivation and dispensary locations in Nevada, Missouri, Massachusetts and Illinois.
