The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department regrets to announce that its three premiere fireworks events have been canceled for 2022.
Fabulous Phoenix Fourth, Light Up the Sky at the American Family Fields and After Dark in the Park will all be canceled this year due to supply chain issues affecting access to fireworks.
As a department, we understand how important these events are to the Phoenix community, and we are disappointed that we will not be able to celebrate with you this year.
“Unfortunately, much like many other municipalities, Phoenix has been affected by the ongoing supply chain issues. The City’s contractor was unable to secure fireworks for the events,” said Parks and Recreation Assistant Director Marty Whitfield. “We apologize to our community for the inconvenience.”
