SanTan Brewing Company, Arizona’s largest independent craft brewery, has entered into an expanded partnership with Gila River Resorts & Casinos to supply the first custom-canned beer collaboration.
“River King Royal Lager” will now be available in a can for patrons at all three Gila River locations. The canned beer will be available beginning Saturday, May 28 at Gila River’s Summer Oasis Pool Party. SanTan Brewing Company will be featured at the pool party to showcase a new niche for the brewery in the marketplace.
SanTan beverages, including River King Royal Lager on draft, have been very successful at Gila River. The new canned option provides additional opportunities to serve the tangerine-forward lager throughout the locations.
“Since its debut, River King Lager has been a huge success at Gila River. We are honored to further partner with SanTan for the first-ever custom canned-beer collaboration,” said Majdi Kayyali, corporate director of beverage at Gila River Resorts & Casinos. “We are excited to launch the new beer cans at the Summer Oasis Pool Party and provide our guests with exceptional hand crafted local beer.”
Additionally, SanTan Brewing sells its Juicy Jack IPA and SanTan Spirits’ SunSplash Vodka Sodas at Gila River.

SanTan Brewery invested in a custom shrink-sleeve labeling system to allow it to take an expanded assortment of craft brews and packaging designs to the market more quickly and efficiently.
