Jake’s Unlimited, one of the Phoenix area’s largest indoor family entertainment venues, has been acquired by local entrepreneurs, JP and Brittany Mullan, who are introducing a new vision to elevate the longtime Mesa venue into a premier destination designed to rival leading national entertainment brands.
The Mullans’ acquisition marks a significant investment in the future of the nearly 87,000-square-foot facility, with plans to modernize the experience, expand offerings and position Jake’s Unlimited as a flagship, Arizona-grown entertainment concept competitive with national chains such as Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, Main Event and Dave & Buster’s.
JP Mullan, a fourth-generation Phoenician, brings more than two decades of experience in the family entertainment industry, having held leadership roles with well-known Valley destinations including CrackerJax, F1 Race Factory, Octane Raceway, and Mavrix. His operational background spans high-volume entertainment venues, guest experience development and revenue-driving attraction concepts.
Jake’s Unlimited is an 87,000 square-foot indoor entertainment destination featuring amusement park rides including bumper cars, teacups, carousel, “Frog Hopper”, and “The Radius”, an indoor tornado ride experience. The venue also offers 12 lanes of HyperBowling, an interactive twist on traditional bowling, along with a two-story laser tag arena, 130 arcade games, VR attractions, and billiards tables.
“This is more than an acquisition — it’s an opportunity to build something that Arizona families can truly call their own,” said JP Mullan, owner of Jake’s Unlimited. “We see the potential to transform Jake’s Unlimited into a best-in-class entertainment destination that competes on a national level while maintaining the local, community-driven spirit that makes it special.”
The purchase of Jake’s Unlimited was also deeply personal for the Mullan family. Inspired in part by their three daughters, the Mullans were motivated to invest in a business centered on creating memorable, accessible, and affordable experiences for families across the Valley.
As a locally owned and operated business, the Mullans aim to differentiate Jake’s Unlimited through a combination of elevated guest service, reinvestment in the facility and a strong connection to the surrounding community. Their long-term strategy includes positioning the venue as both a neighborhood staple and a regional draw for group events, celebrations and corporate gatherings.
“As parents, we understand how important these shared experiences are,” said Brittany Mullan, co-owner of Jake’s Unlimited. “We live here, we’re raising our family here, and we’re committed to building a place where other families can celebrate, connect and create lasting memories.”
Under the Mullans’ ownership, Jake’s Unlimited will undergo a major renovation later this year, with significant continued upgrades throughout 2026, including a premium larger-format karting experience that will be unveiled at a later date.
To celebrate the new ownership, Jake’s Unlimited is offering a special discount on its Unlimited Passes this summer, starting at $19.95. The $19.95 discounted rate is now available through July 31, 2026 and includes unlimited rides, laser tag, arcade games, and access to the buffet.
