The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), in partnership with Venture Madness, announced three winners for the 2024 Venture Madness Conference.

Arizona’s longest-running pitch competition, Venture Madness features early stage and emerging growth companies and offers participants exclusive access to the region’s most active, accredited angel investors and venture capital firms. At the event held on April 4, companies competed in head-to-head pitches.

This year’s competition featured 16 finalists selected from a pool of 130 applications. Following presentations, judges selected three winners, with the first place winning $25,000; second place winning $10,000 and third place winning $5,000.

The 2024 Venture Madness winners are:

  • 1st Place: Rovicare, a Tempe-based healthcare digital platform that automates patient transition and care coordination. Rovicare’s mission is to reduce overall healthcare costs, make care more accessible to more people, and increase the quality of care for all patients.
  • 2nd Place: Retisio, the leading provider of advanced eCommerce solutions that empower modern retailers and brands to sell more online and reduce risk.
  • 3rd Place: Quibble, a startup which provides revenue management services and software for vacation rental properties.

“Congratulations to the outstanding 2024 Venture Madness winners,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “Arizona is home to one of the fastest- growing and welcoming startup ecosystems in the nation. We are proud to continue to partner with Venture Madness and Invest Southwest to support Arizona’s talented entrepreneurs.”

The 2024 Venture Madness Conference also included panels featuring Arizona startup founders including eVisit, Pyx Health, Shopgenie and Mosaic and a panel of venture capital leaders discussed the landscape of venture capital. The event also provided a dedicated Expo area for the third year, where Presenting Company Finalists, along with a host of other emerging growth companies, had the opportunity to showcase their products and services to attending accredited investors from across the country.

Venture Madness has helped raise over $1 billion in capital funding since 1992. Previous Venture Madness winners include CampusLogic, Televeda, Homie and Qwick.
