Scott Lewis, a seasoned banker with an extensive background in the mortgage industry, has been named the Regional Director of Banking for the Southwest Region at JPMorgan Chase.
Based in Phoenix, Scott will lead the 1700+ retail branch banking employees for Arizona, focusing on aiding clients with all financial needs while providing first-class service. In addition, his team partners with all lines of business to ensure clients and employees receive seamless service.
“Scott is a valued leader at JPMorgan Chase and under his guidance, his team excelled in production, people management, and performed with excellent controls and ethics,” said Jodi Rolland, divisional director for banking. “Scott’s leadership on the team will deepen our commitment to delivering first-class financial services to our customers to make it easy for them to bank with us.”
Scott has been with Chase for 20 years and began as a Home Lending Advisor. Over the years he has grown his career and taken leadership roles within Business Resource Groups (BRG) and the Culture Council. He served as Chair for the Greater West Home Lending Culture Council, as well as Chair for the Arizona Adelante BRG chapter. He also serves on the Arizona Market Leadership Team for JPMorgan Chase.
“This is an exciting time in retail banking as branches remain critical to our customers and we continue to take an integrated physical and digital approach to banking,” Lewis said. “As a firm, we’re also deepening our commitment to community with new roles such as a Community Manager to provide culturally significant communities access to traditional banking. I look forward to the partnerships we develop as we continue to help our customers achieve their financial goals.”
Chase through its predecessors dates back more than 100 years in Arizona. This year, as part of Chase’s ongoing national branch strategy, branches opened in 10 new states, making Chase the first bank to be in all 48 lower states.
JPMorgan Chase employs about 9,200 people in Arizona. Chase has 208 branches and serves 2.6 million consumer customers and almost 290,000 business customers statewide. It also serves many of the top corporations and leading institutions across the Valley. In 2020, JPMorgan Chase donated more than $3.5 million to local Arizona charities
