This weekend, the Spirits of Mexico Culture & Tourism Festival is happening in Downtown Phoenix.
This inaugural event is your chance to taste the exotic Sotol, an emerging spirit from the Chihuahua Desert, and Agave Spirits Mezcal and tequila, sway to the rhythm of Mexican music, immerse yourself in Chihuahua culture & tourism opportunities, and so much more!
Event managers said Spirits of Mexico is not just an event – it’s a journey, discovering a destination, a tasting tour, and a music fiesta all rolled into one unforgettable weekend.
The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Square, near Seventh and Monroe Streets.
Advance tickets are available online. A VIP experience that includes a shot glass, 10 spirit sample tickets and the opportunity to sign up for a free cooking class costs $45 daily. For non-drinkers, general admission entry is $25. Kids 12 and under can get in for free.
