Sharing the Love: Mountain Shadows Staff Talk Patio Dining Around Town

Mountain Shadows Resort

The Scottsdale area has its fair share of restaurants, and plenty of enticing patios to boot. Mountain Shadows Resort is making planning your next trip easy by sharing a few of our top recommendations for patio dining in the Valley. Your taste buds will thank these Mountain Shadows staff who tell us their experiences.

Chelsea’s Kitchen

“Less than 10 minutes from Mountain Shadows, this is one of my very favorite spots in town, with an incredible menu of comfort food meets Southwestern cuisine. They have a wood-burning rotisserie and stove, which works well for my favorite dish — Mary’s Organic Chicken. Their cocktails are amazing (the white sangria is delicious), and their craft beers and wines are thoughtfully selected. The patio is simply magical, with an outdoor fireplace, light-filled trees, and even a water view. Did I mention that the service is also top-notch?”
– Regan Copeland, Concierge

Glai Baan

“The food at this little Thai spot is truly authentic, with a focus on street food and snacks that are ideal for sharing. Located in what used to be a home, the restaurant exudes a sense of casualness and coziness, yet you still feel like getting dressed up to come here. The team at Glai Baan always makes me feel welcome, and the cocktails are excellent.”
– Alfred Muro, Chef de Cuisine

Blanco Tacos

“Having grown up in Arizona, I love Mexican food. Blanco adds a modern twist to some old favorites in a way that makes them feel fresh. The vibe here is great, the food is delicious, and you can’t go wrong with a local brew or a margarita to pair with it.”
– Scott Cook, Fitness Manager
