In 2024, the Scottsdale Gallery Association continues its beloved Gold Palette ArtWalks, which occur as part of its weekly Thursday evening ArtWalk series. The first Gold Palette ArtWalk of the year, Demonstrate!, took place on Thursday, January 11th.
During this special event, which takes place throughout the Scottsdale Arts District — along Main St. from Scottsdale Rd. to Goldwater Blvd. and north of Indian School Rd. on Marshall Way to 5th Ave. — guests can enjoy live art demonstrations along the corridors of the district. Many participating SGA members will also be featuring live artists’ demonstrations and receptions within their galleries.
“We look forward to seeing all our favorite art enthusiasts, and welcoming new friends at Demonstrate!,” says Scottsdale Gallery Association President French Thompson. “This ArtWalk presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity for local artists to showcase their creative processes in real time and allows art lovers to get a glimpse of this.”
As attendees stroll along the Scottsdale Arts District from gallery to gallery, they can enjoy live performances from traditional bagpipers and other entertainment. Select SGA members are also hosting events in their galleries during the Demonstrate! Gold Palette ArtWalk, including:
