From the comfort of your own home, grab a seat and get ready to Devour At Home, an experience fit for the times featuring a delicious, family-style meal from the culinary leaders who have worked tirelessly to establish Arizona as a sought-after dining destination. Local First Arizona is bringing back one of the most anticipated events in the Valley in 2021 for a weekend of action and celebration — take part and support Arizona chefs who need your undying support to help local restaurants survive.
Each day will feature a select roster of the Valley’s most renowned chefs and award-winning restaurants offering a limited quantity, one-night-only prix fixe menu for four people, for a total of $200. Each order will include Devour Culinary Classic signature wine glasses, warming instructions, chef bios, a beautifully designed 2021 Devour at Home placemat, and a commemorative thermal tote.
Participating restaurants will receive 100% of the proceeds from Devour at Home. Take a sneak peek at the chefs slated to deliver: Christopher Gross of the Wrigley Mansion, Danielle Leoni of The Breadfruit & Rum Bar, Justin Beckett of Southern Rail & Beckett’s Table, Lori Hashimoto of Hana Japanese Eatery, Silvana Salcido Esparza of Barrio Cafe, Stephen Jones of The Larder + The Delta and many more to be announced.
From a home plating contest that allows Devour fans to show off their skills (with prizes determined by the chefs) to exclusive virtual experiences with participating chefs, Devour at Home offers a safe, delicious, and fun opportunity to support Arizona’s food purveyors when they need it most.
Devour Week, a multi-event food and drink experience hosted in February, receives annual recognition from the Arizona Republic, Phoenix Magazine, and Phoenix New Times. At the helm of Devour Week is the Devour Culinary Classic, named the Best Southwestern Culinary Festival by The New York Times, which will return to its traditional format when CDC guidelines allow for large gatherings and consider it safe.
Devour Phoenix is an initiative of Local First Arizona and rose as a collaborative coalition of local chefs working to create a destination food and dining scene worthy of national prestige. The cornerstone of this coalition is Devour Week, a multi-event food and drink experience hosted annually in the Spring in partnership with Desert Botanical Garden and the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance (SAACA.)
