The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) announced that single-game tickets for the first three homestands at Chase Field will go on sale at 9 a.m. on March 25. The team is expecting to make 25 percent of the seats in the ballpark available each game with social distancing and increased safety, health and comfort measures in place.
Each of the first three homestands will feature a promotional item giveaway, as Clear Tote Bags will be handed out for the games on April 9-11 courtesy of Gila River Hotels & Casinos. A D-backs Graffiti Cap will be distributed April 30 – May 2 courtesy of Pepsi and a Ketel Marte Switch-Hitter bobblehead will be given to fans in attendance May 14-16, courtesy of Gila River Hotels & Casinos. Each of the giveaways are for the first 5,000 fans in attendance.
The Marte giveaway features two different bobbleheads — one batting left-handed and the other batting right-handed, with each fan randomly receiving one or the other. The Graffiti Cap features a design under the bill created by local Arizona artist Lalo Cota, while the clear bag will provide an easy-to-use option for fans entering Chase Field with the team’s new clear bag policy, which can be seen here.
The team has enacted numerous safety and health measures in order to ensure fan comfort at Chase Field. This includes Health & Comfort Seating Pods, mobile tickets and cashless and touchless concessions and merchandise, presented by Chase. Sanitation stations have been placed around the ballpark and cleaning procedures that comply with all CDC requirements and recommendations. Masks must be worn in all common areas and at all times when not actively eating or drinking. These measures can be found here and will be unveiled in addition to all of the new features at Chase Field during a safe and distanced media event on March 25, with details to follow.
The Home Opener will take place on April 9 at 6:40 p.m., the first of three games against the Cincinnati Reds, followed by a two-game Interleague series against the Oakland A’s, both teams which reached the postseason in 2020. The second homestand is against the NL West Division rival San Diego Padres and Colorado Rockies and the third homestand will see the Washington Nationals and Miami Marlins only visits to Chase Field in 2020.
Additional ticket information regarding games after May 16 will be announced at a later date. For updates as they becomes available, visit dbacks.com/tickets
