In Celebration of Women, an art exhibition to celebrate the Women’s Right to Vote and Women’s HERstory Month, opens at the Arizona Capitol Museum at 1700 W. Washington Street Phoenix on March 24 and runs through April 28, 2022.

What: In Celebration of Women Art Exhibition
When: March 24, 2022 – April 28, 2022
Where: Arizona Capitol Museum, 1700 W. Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85007

Delayed by the COVID crisis, the exhibition, originally hosted at the Herberger Theater Art Gallery, drew an enthusiastic crowd to its opening on March 6, 2020. Two weeks later the pandemic shuttered the exhibition which was placed online for six months.

Created and curated by Paula Cullison, a long-time women’s rights and social justice activist, the juried exhibit includes the works of 30 female Arizona artists. This exhibition is sponsored by the Arizona Women’s Partnership, an all-volunteer philanthropic non-profit, founded by Cullison in 2002, which has awarded over half a million dollars in grants that assist disadvantaged women and children in Arizona.
