The Western Maricopa Coalition (WESTMARC), in collaboration with Leadership West and the Center for the Future of Arizona, is proud to launch the 2025 West Valley Emerging Leaders Impact Program—a regional initiative recognizing exceptional young professionals driving positive change across the West Valley.
The program honors professionals under the age of 40 who live or work in the West Valley and are advancing the region’s quality of life—a framework of 13 community pillars
including education, public safety, economic opportunity, healthcare access, and more.
This year’s winner will receive a full scholarship to the Leadership West Flagship Program— a premier, nine-month experience designed to deepen regional knowledge, build civic leadership capacity, and inspire long-term engagement.
“At Leadership West, we believe the future of our region is shaped by those who are willing to lead boldly and serve selflessly,” said Michelle Hess, Executive Director of Leadership West. “This partnership with WESTMARC allows us to invest in young professionals who are already making a difference, amplifying their impact, and equipping them to drive meaningful change across the West Valley.”

Nominations are open through August 8, 2025. Individuals must be nominated by a peer, mentor, or supervisor; self-nominations are not accepted.
