Blacktie-Arizona, founded in 2001, is part of a national company providing Web-based event planning and promotional tools for nonprofits, associations and businesses. It has recently added a new service for businesses – Donation Tracker.
Blacktie’s DonationTracker is intended for any business that is asked to donate gift certificates or items for silent or live auctions. Many businesses are inundated with requests submitted in many different non-standardized formats and often there is no history of what has previously been given to a particular group or any organized records. DonationTracker helps solve all these issues − for a modest fee.
The standardized, digital input form helps with consistency. Administrators from each company can quickly approve or reject and – best of all – at the end of the year the organization can create a spreadsheet that totals the value of its donations for tax purposes and easily forward it to its accountant. It can also search the history of what has transpired or been submitted to each nonprofit organization. For example, they can ask, “What has American Heart Association requested over the years?”

Lincoln Health Foundation, Arizona Kidney Foundation, Duet, Catholic Community Foundation, Fullness of Life Foundation, Singleton Moms, Arizona Assistance in Healthcare and Taste of the NFL.
More than 150 restaurants, jewelry stores, spas and resorts have already signed on for DonationTracker in our founding state of Colorado. It is now launching the service in Arizona.
