Lyft, the fastest growing rideshare company in the U.S., has teamed up with Arizona’s highest-level professional soccer team, Phoenix Rising Football Club, to offer fans a safe and affordable transportation option for the remainder of the 2017 season.
As the official rideshare partner, Lyft will make it easy for fans to arrive at Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex at designated dropoff and pickup areas, and return home safely after celebrating at the game. Lyft brand ambassadors will be on-site at Phoenix Rising FC matches to help fans download the app and navigate to the rideshare pickup area.
“We are thrilled to launch this partnership with Phoenix Rising FC and to give fans a safe transportation option, so they can enjoy the game and easily get home afterwards,” said Lyft Southwest Region General Manager, Drena Kusari. “We love working with local organizations and businesses, like Phoenix Rising FC, on the activities and events that make Phoenix special.”
“Phoenix Rising FC is proud to have Lyft as our official rideshare partner,” said Phoenix Rising FC Governor Berke Bakay. “The wellbeing of our fans is our number one priority, and with Lyft we are comforted to know that Phoenix Rising FC fans will be arriving and leaving our matches safely. This partnership with Lyft demonstrates our shared commitment to our surrounding community, and ensures everyone can celebrate at our matches responsibly.”
Starting on July 29th, new Lyft users can enter the PHXRISING code for $50 in free Lyft ride credits. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans to attend the home game versus San Antonio FC on Saturday, July 29th, will receive a free Phoenix Rising FC and Lyft koozie upon entrance to the stadium. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans entering the supporters section on the southside of Phoenix Rising FC Stadium will receive a bottle opener with a Lyft ride code valid for the August 26th home game.
