Garmin International, the world leader in Global Positioning Satellite devices, will expand its operations in Chandler with a new 67,000 square foot office space. LGE Design build recently announced plans for the space, which includes LEED silver, a parking ratio of eight spaces per 1,000 square feet of office, tilt construction, a two-story atrium and an outdoor basketball and volleyball court.
Garmin International is commited to making superior products for aviation, automotive, marine, and sports. “Garmin has been a longtime employer in Chandler and the Greater Phoenix area, because it offers a highly-skilled workforce. Investing in the construction of our own facility signals a long-term commitment to Chandler and the State of Arizona,” said Kevin Rauckman, Garmin’s CFO.
The city of Chandler is excited to attract and maintain high-tech employers such as Garmin and LGE Design Build is honored to head the project.
