LaneTerralever  June 16, 2014

Marketing services firm LaneTerralever continues its growth trajectory with the announcement of its acquisition of digital and strategy firm Buzz Mouth. The acquisition enforces LaneTerralever’s significant footprint in digital marketing, solidifying its mission to meet the needs of its clients now and for the future.

In addition to transitioning current clients of Buzz Mouth, founder Aaron Bare is announcing his new affiliation with LaneTerralever as Innovator-in-Residence. Bare is a former Accenture consultant and Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has sold 10 companies and supported numerous others as a business strategist and advisor. In his new role, Bare is engaging with audiences through consultancy and speaking engagements. His focus is twofold: to help companies understand the concept of disruption as an opportunity, and how to converge the philosophies of the entrepreneurial model with enterprise.

“We were attracted to Buzz Mouth, and specifically to Aaron, because of his philosophy and point of view,” said Beau Lane, CEO of LaneTerralever. “The clients this acquisition brings signifies our commitment to progressive, new technologies. We appreciate Aaron’s courage to take the steps and seek opportunities for disruption, as this is in alignment with our values to be bold and make an impact in the market for our clients.”

“As a marketing industry leader with impressive work and reputable clients, LaneTerralever provides me with a prestigious platform for sharing my expertise and philosophies,” said Bare. “I’m confident in the timing and strategy behind this partnership. It’s my goal to help accelerate and support LaneTerralever’s continued growth and success.”

LaneTerralever president Chris Johnson added, “Aaron is a passionate and talented addition to our team whose skills are complementary to the expertise we provide our clients. We’re pleased with the acquisition of Buzz Mouth, and we’ll continue to evaluate more opportunities such as this to help us get to where we want to go.”

Since the merger of full-service digital firm Terralever and long-tenured marketing agency E.B. Lane was announced in October 2013, LaneTerralever has experienced a 25-percent growth in revenue and has hired more than 25 new employees. Combined, the award-winning marketing enterprise provides clients with product and service excellence in advertising; digital marketing; technology services, development and design; social media; public relations; media strategy and multicultural strategy. Each organization proudly has been named among the Best Places to Work, Terralever in 2013 and E.B. Lane, for the fourth consecutive year.
