Kapow Events, the nation’s fastest-growing corporate events company, with offices in New York City, Chicago, Dallas and Boston, has announced that its co-founder, Michael Timpone, who attended Arizona State University, is returning to Phoenix to open the company’s first-ever office in the Valley of the Sun. Timpone was most recently building Kapow’s exposure in its home base of Chicago as well as opening its first office in Dallas.
“I am more than thrilled that Kapow is in a hyper-expansion phase as more companies across the country realize the value of unique experiences for corporate events as a way to engage and delight their clients,” said Timpone. “To me, it’s icing on the cake that I get to bring this company back to a city I love and build a stronger corporate events connection among the businesses and restaurants of Phoenix.”
Timpone has already hired a team, all local to the Phoenix area, comprised of an account executive, a partnershipmanager and two account managers who will support Kapow’s mission of combining event expertise and creativity with flawless execution to for local companies and their clients.
Prior to starting Kapow Events, Timpone spent 12 years developing two digital agency startups in Phoenix and Chicago. Most recently, he has been working with brands such as Mattel, NIKE, Hallmark, 20th Century Fox, IMAX, Square Enix and LEGO.
