Members of Avnet, Inc.’s executive team rang The Closing Bell® for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) today. Avnet participated in this ceremonial honor following the conclusion of the company’s Investor Day meeting at the NYSE, where its senior leadership team provided an update on Avnet’s strategic initiatives and a financial review of the progress being made toward long-term performance goals. In addition, 2015 marks Avnet’s 55th anniversary of being listed on the NYSE.
Ringing The Closing Bell was Rick Hamada, Avnet CEO, accompanied by Avnet’s executive leadership team that included Mike Buseman, chief global logistics and operations officer of Avnet, Inc.; Gerry Fay, president of Avnet Electronics Marketing Global; Erin Lewin, general counsel of Avnet, Inc.; Kevin Moriarty, chief financial officer of Avnet, Inc.; MaryAnn Miller, chief human resources officer and corporate communications of Avnet, Inc.; and Patrick Zammit, president of Avnet Technology Solutions, Global. Avnet is a global technology distributor and the largest publicly-held company headquartered in Arizona based on annual revenue of $27.5 billion.
