Agency Luminaries Launch the Arizona Advertising Guild to Attract Clients and Top Prospects to the State

Over a dozen top advertising industry leaders in the state have joined forces to launch the Arizona Advertising Guild (AZAG). Founded under the mission of elevating the Arizona advertising market, AZAG works to recruit outstanding talent and top-tier national clients by showcasing successful agencies, impressive client rosters and award-winning creative work.

“As AZAG founding members, we see a tremendous opportunity to recruit high-performing professionals, keep top talent here and attract national clients to Arizona’s thriving advertising community,” said Marianne Guenther, CEO of BIG YAM, the Parsons Agency and AZAG President. “We live in a great state, and the agencies here are doing amazing work; it’s time more people knew about it.”

An issues-driven cooperative of local advertising agencies, AZAG was conceived to highlight the exceptional creative work local agencies are producing for clients, as well as showcase the results that this creative has on a client’s bottom line. The Valley of the Sun is home to more than just 300 days of sunshine – it is also a hotbed of talent, and that’s something the founding members want the rest of the nation to know.
