Isola Group, a market leader in engineered dielectric materials used to fabricate advanced multilayer printed circuit boards, announced the promotion of Michael “Mike” Gastonguay to President-Americas. In this role, Gastonguay will be responsible for Isola’s sales, customer service and manufacturing operations in the Americas region.
Gastonguay joined Isola as Corporate Vice President, Quality – Operational Excellence in March 2011. He previously worked at Avaya, Inc., where he was the senior executive responsible for implementing companywide Lean Six Sigma activities and processes. Prior to Avaya, he spent many years with the General Electric Company, including executive positions in its Capital, Healthcare, and Energy businesses units.
Raymond Sharpe, Isola’s president and CEO, commented, “Throughout his career, Mike has worked closely to help drive customer intimacy by leveraging his knowledge of operations and quality. His proven skills for collaboratively developing solutions will help the Americas region and Isola to expand in the years to come.” Gastonguay has a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
