BeyondTrust®, the security industry’s only provider of context-aware solutions for privilege and vulnerability management, has announced Kevin Gallagher has joined BeyondTrust as vice president of Strategic Alliances. In his role, Gallagher will be responsible for creating and accelerating routes to market for BeyondTrust products and solutions. This will encompass strategic, reseller, channel, VAR, OEM, and technology partner relationships.

Gallagher joins BeyondTrust from Brinqa, where he served as the vice president of Worldwide Sales and Business Development for Brinqa’s Risk Analytics solution. In this position, he was responsible the company’s sales functions, including its direct and inside sales force and sales operations, taking the company from startup status to influential vendor in the marketplace. At Brinqa, he cultivated relationships with partners, including Accuvant, HP, IBM, McAfee, Oracle, and TripWire. Prior to that, Gallagher was the director of Global Security Sales for Sun Microsystems. Earlier in his career, Kevin held a variety of sales positions at CA Technologies.
