“It is our privilege to provide these funds to such incredible nonprofit organizations that benefit the lives of so many Arizonans,” said KennethManuel, CEO of Gila River Hotels & Casinos. “This continues our ongoing dedication to supporting the local community and providing positive economic contributions whenever we can.”
Earlier this year, all Arizona based 501c3 status nonprofit organizations recognized by the IRS were eligible to apply to receive these funds, and a committee from Gila River Hotels & Casinos selected the recipients.
“We are delighted to be among the organizations selected to receive an award from Gila River Hotels & Casinos,” said Robin Pearson, Executive Director of Voices for CASA Children. “They truly demonstrate their commitment to the community and we appreciate their support in growing the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program and supporting foster children.”
Entering its 25th anniversary year in 2019, Gila River Hotels & Casinos has a long history of giving back to the Arizona community and has partnered with local nonprofits since its inception.
Gila River plans to continue its annual tradition of donating its forfeited jackpots to Arizona nonprofits.
