Scottsdale Recovery Center, a leading provider of addiction treatment and recovery services, announced its partnership with the Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry for the health justice re-entry program. This transformative initiative aims to support individuals transitioning out of incarceration by providing them with essential resources to successfully reintegrate into society.
The program addresses critical needs for those re-entering the community, including employment assistance, substance detox and treatment, and access to vital documents such as fingerprint clearance cards. By addressing these barriers, the program empowers individuals to build a stable and healthy future, reducing the risk of recidivism and fostering positive community outcomes.
“Reentering society after incarceration is a pivotal moment that can determine someone’s trajectory,” said Justin Bronson, a justice case manager with Scottsdale Recovery Center. “I’m not the only one who dealt with depression, feeling alone and anxiety after reentering society, so I’m thrilled about the establishment of this program,” Bronson said.
Guided by Scottsdale Recovery Center’s vision to reimagine correctional practices across Arizona, the reentry program has focused its 2025 goals on increasing funding so that incarcerated individuals have more opportunities and resources to achieve long-term sobriety.
