Banner|Aetna, a joint venture health plan owned by Banner Health and Aetna, a CVS Health company, is offering Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance plans with additional benefits across more Arizona counties in 2024. Banner|Aetna will offer Silver plans at zero premium in Maricopa, Pima and Yuma counties for fully subsidized members. Now through Jan. 15, 2024, individuals and families can enroll for 2024 coverage through the website, an authorized broker, or on HealthCare.gov.

As a joint venture insurance company, Banner|Aetna unites a renowned local health system with the resources of a national insurer to connect people with the right level of care at the right time. This unique arrangement results in a different kind of health insurance, as it offers an improved member experience, higher quality care, and more affordable health care.

Banner|Aetna plans are available to individuals and their families in Gila County for the first time in 2024. The insurer continues to support Arizonans throughout Cochise, Coconino, Maricopa, Pinal, Pima, and Yuma counties.

The company has launched new programs that will help consumers more easily access care at a lower cost.

“The enhancements we’ve made to Banner|Aetna plans will help more people easily access high-quality, affordable health care,” said Tom Grote, chief executive officer of Banner|Aetna. “After offering individual and family health insurance for the first time in 2022, we’ve seen exponential membership growth, which is driving even more innovative programs and benefits.”
