City of Phoenix Begins Vaccination Incentive Program

City of Phoenix

The city of Phoenix will offer vaccine incentives after the City Council approved a pilot program to increase vaccination rates in underserved communities.

The city,  partnering with its clinical health care vendors, began offering 100 dollar gift cards to individuals who become fully vaccinated through city sponsored vaccination events.

A  full course of the vaccination has been shown to be extremely effective at preventing individuals from becoming seriously ill from COVID-19. Residents who receive the full course of vaccinations through a city of Phoenix vaccination site are eligible to receive a 100 dollar gift card from a local grocery store or gas station.

The city of Phoenix Public Works Department manages the Mobile COVID-19 vans and hosts testing and vaccination event across Phoenix. To see upcoming locations that are part of the Vaccination Incentive Program, visit Phoenix.gov/COVIDTesting.
