Barrow Brain and Spine Opens at HonorHealth Sonoran Crossing Medical Center

Barrow Brain and Spine, the largest integrated Neurological group in the Southwest, is proud to announce their expansion to HonorHealth Sonoran Crossing Medical Center Campus. The office is located at 33300 N. 32nd Avenue in Phoenix. Barrow Brain and Spine’s Sonoran Crossing Center features 7,161 square feet of examination and treatment rooms, as well as administrative office space. This new clinic space allows the physicians and staff to focus on the patient experience and continue Barrow Brain and Spine’s commitment to providing exceptional care for the best possible outcomes.

The new office is ideally located less than a mile from the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) plant and the Thompson Thrift 30-acre retail center and luxury apartment property. The institute benefits the surrounding areas of Anthem, North Gateway, Deer Valley, and other Northern Phoenix communities by offering comprehensive neurosurgical evaluation and interventional spine and musculoskeletal procedures.

The newest member of the team, Dr. Heather Theobald, is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and fellowship-trained in Interventional Spine and Sports. She specializes in the non-surgical management of neck and back pain. Dr. Bryan Lee is the medical director for Barrow Brain and Spine’s Sonoran Crossing Center. Dr. Lee is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery. His expertise encompasses surgical treatment of an array of conditions, including degenerative diseases, deformity reconstructions and revisions, tumors, and cranial and spinal trauma.

The Sonoran Crossing Center team includes Dr. Mark Oppenlander, board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, who treats a wide variety of brain and spinal deformities and trauma. Also on the team are Dr. Nikolay Martirosyan, board-certified in Neurological Surgery, who utilizes cutting-edge technology and specializes in minimally invasive approaches; and Dr. Rory Murphy, a member of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons and who specializes in spine, brain and peripheral nerve injuries and surgeries.
