Workshop Pilates, a pioneer of heated mat Pilates in the Valley and one one of the region’s fastest-growing studio brands, has announced it’s expanding with a fourth location, its first in the East Valley, slated to open in January at Northside at SanTan Village in Gilbert.
Renowned as the first studio to bring heated mat Pilates to Arizona, offering a detoxifying 85-degree experience that enhances flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning and overall wellness, Workshop Pilates blends movement, music and hospitality in a setting designed to empower and connect.
The Gilbert studio elevates the experience further with its signature moody lighting, curated playlists and community-driven culture that raises the bar for the practice of Pilates. Offering a refined alternative to the bright, high-volume environments common in traditional studios, Workshop Pilates cultivates an intimate, client-centric atmosphere that engages and motivates from the moment guests walk in.
“Being part of the Gilbert community is an incredible milestone for us,” said Jackie Parks, co-founder of Workshop Pilates. “This new Workshop Pilates studio represents the next evolution of our concept. We can’t wait for guests to experience the design, energy and innovation we’ve meticulously built into every detail.”
Workshop Pilates opened its first location in McCormick Ranch in 2020 before expanding to North Scottsdale in 2023 and Arcadia in 2024. The studio has quickly become a top destination for both Pilates enthusiasts and newcomers, emerging as one of the Valley’s fastest-growing fitness brands.
In early 2025, Workshop Pilates entered a new chapter with a strategic investment from Ment Partners and the appointment of Nick Lavidge as president, igniting an ambitious expansion across Arizona and the U.S. The Gilbert studio is the first of many as the brand accelerates its growth and redefines the Pilates experience nationwide.
“Ment and Nick share our vision for creating transformational experiences that leave people better than when they arrived,” said Ariel Schwartz, co-founder. “Gilbert is our first new studio together and we’re eager to introduce the East Valley to a wholly unique fitness space that inspires connection and togetherness.”
