Center Court Pickleball Club celebrated the grand opening of its Scottsdale Shea location on September 23, marking the locally owned company’s fourth indoor pickleball facility in metro Phoenix.
Located at 10220 N. 90th St., near Loop 101 and Shea Boulevard, the 35,000-square-foot club features 13 tournament-sized indoor courts and serves as the company’s headquarters and training center. The facility accommodates amateur and professional play, with space for instruction, competitions, corporate events and team-building activities.
Center Court partnered with the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration featuring free open play, opportunities to play with coaches, food and drinks, vendor showcases and on-court competitions. Attendees toured the facility and participated in prize drawings for memberships, clinics and Play With a Pro sessions.
The Scottsdale Shea club incorporates features informed by the company’s experience operating its first three locations, including upward-facing lighting designed to reduce glare and acoustics designed for indoor play. Amenities include locker rooms, warm-up and recovery equipment, including Power Plates, wellness areas and a dedicated member lounge with complimentary coffee drinks.
“Scottsdale is home for Center Court, so opening our club here at Shea and the Loop 101, and our fourth in the Valley, was very important and personal to our team,” said Tim Keightley, CEO of Center Court Pickleball Club. “We did not simply want to build more courts. Our goal was to take everything our members and team had taught us from our first three clubs and build an even better experience. Shea is the result of that.”
