Artie’s Ace Hardware opened its doors to Eastmark residents and visitors at the Arrival at Cadence North center. Located at 5221 S Ellsworth Road, this Ace Hardware location is special because of its size, selection, and well-known owner, Artie Holm.

Holm started his first Ace Hardware location in Paradise Valley 50 years ago. Due to his excellent customer service and dedication to supplying customers with every option possible, he has become a local icon in the hardware world.

“I pride myself on providing customers with a wide range of products and options,” said Holm. “It is well-known in my communities that, if someone is looking for specific items, my stores typically have them!”

Artie’s Ace Hardware in Mesa is one of few locations that boasts a fully equipped nursery and garden center, building supplies, and a wide variety of hardware equipment. With a 25,000 square-foot store and an 18,000 square-foot garden and lumber center, the store is one of the largest in Arizona. From paint brushes to grills to power tools, Artie’s Ace Hardware has a wide selection of products and all the brand options to pick from.

During the weekend of Sept. 12-14, Artie’s Ace Hardware will host a series of events to celebrate the new store. There will be a 53-foot semi-truck filled with landscape products, 20% off sale for the entire store, a hot air balloon 75 feet in the air over the store, over 20 vendors, a Grill-A-Thon, food giveaways, festive décor, a DJ and more. Additionally, on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 13, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Holm selected this location because Eastmark is an up-and-coming area.

“12 years ago, I started looking into Eastmark for my second location,” Holm said. “There is so much young talent here, and I’m excited to be a part of their journeys, whether it be renovating their homes or creating the perfect outdoor entertainment space.”

Artie’s Ace Hardware joins a diverse tenant mix at Arrival at Cadence North, which features Domino’s Pizza, Reformed Pilates, V’s Barbershop, Jersey Mikes, Luna Grill, Nutrishop, European Wax Center, Reset Mind + Body, Quik Trip, Burger King, Chipotle, Black Rock Coffee, Bosa Donuts and Point 22 Tavern.

Neighboring this plaza is Arrival at Cadence South, features anchor tenants Mountainside Fitness, Phoenix Children’s, McDonald’s, Dental Care at Point 24, Apex Network PT, NextCare Urgent Care, Athletico PT, and Craft Culture Wine & Taproom.
