Stemistry, a creatively reimagined floral boutique and innovative coffee lab, announced its expansion with the upcoming opening of its third location at the Road Runner apartments in Phoenix this summer.
Created and operated by 18-year-old Dylan Capshaw, Stemistry is a whimsical and unique concept that is part flower bar, part coffee lab. At the bouquet bar, guests can build one-of-a-kind fresh flower arrangements by picking out flowers, paying by the stem then finalizing it in the design area. The coffee lab serves creative lattes like rose, lavender, 24K gold and coconut cream along with traditional coffee drinks and teas.
Stemistry will be the only retailer in the new Road Runner apartments. The 1,300 square-foot space will be fully renovated and have ample seating options including a large communal table, high-top stools and booths. Plus, a large flower area and a full kitchen that will serve an expanded food menu. The new location will be the largest of the three Stemistry locations.
“I am so excited to bring Stemistry to a new community and location within the Road Runner,” said Capshaw. “We look forward to being able to offer new items at this store and welcome first-time guests in.”
In addition to the bouquet bar, Stemistry also offers affordable, pre-made bouquets crafted by local professional florists that are available for pick-up in store or delivered. The menu features protein shakes, frozen drinks, the option to build your own energy drink, pastries, sandwiches and more.
Capshaw is an entrepreneur and environmental activist. Before opening the first Stemistry in Scottsdale in 2022, he founded two non-profits – For the Frontline and Capshaw Wildlife. His work and dedication to these foundations led to international media attention including his nomination in Nickelodeon and Time Magazine’s first-ever Kid of The Year competition in 2020, where Capshaw was a finalist. Capshaw was one of the youngest brick-and-mortar store owners in the country when he opened Stemistry at age 15. His passion for Scottsdale landed him on the Mayor’s Youth Council, which he served for two years working closely with the Mayor on ways to improve the city. Capshaw is attending ASU in the fall at the W.P. Carey School of Business and majoring in Entrepreneurship.
The Scottsdale and Phoenix Stemistry locations are open daily from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday.
