Rehrig Pacific, a leading manufacturer of integrated sustainable solutions for the supply chain and environmental waste industries, held a groundbreaking ceremony of its new injection molding manufacturing plant in Buckeye, Arizona. Anticipating an opening in late April of 2024, this project represents a significant investment in Buckeye and the long-term relationship Rehrig Pacific looks forward to fostering with the community. The first phase of the project includes a 260,000-square-foot facility, with room for incremental growth of up to 500,000-square-feet.

“The investment in a new facility with plenty of room for growth supports Rehrig Pacific’s Mission and Values,” said Will Rehrig, CEO of Rehrig Pacific. “It was essential that we chose a location that worked well for both our current and future customers and one that supported our team members. We found incredible partners in Buckeye that helped make this buildout a reality, as well as phenomenal support from state officials and local development. We look forward to growing our Rehrig Pacific Family in Buckeye.”

“Rehrig Pacific’s new manufacturing facility showcases the rapid economic growth in the West Valley and across the state,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “We are proud Rehrig Pacific will extend its legacy with this innovative and sustainable facility in Buckeye, enhancing our rapidly growing manufacturing industry.”

“Greater Phoenix boasts a robust and efficient supply chain infrastructure, providing businesses with the logistical support necessary for success and Rehrig Pacific is a natural fit within this ecosystem, with over a century of experience,” said Chris Camacho, President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. “We look forward to the positive impact that Rehrig Pacific’s presence will bring to Greater Phoenix and the continued success of their innovative services.”

“Rehrig Pacific is exactly the type of business we need in Buckeye,” said Buckeye Mayor Eric Orsborn. “Their commitment to product excellence, customer service, and being an integral part of the community creates an excellent partnership with Buckeye. Plus, providing our residents with career opportunities closer to home enhances their quality of life with more time to spend with family and friends.”

Having led the way in the circular economy for over 100 years, Rehrig Pacific’s history is built on reusable, sustainable, solution-based products and services. Beginning their journey in Los Angeles, California, Rehrig Pacific expanded to include eight manufacturing facilities across North America, providing some of the shortest freight lanes for their customers. Their organization’s proven success comes from focusing on the needs of their customers’ customer, integrating technology to eliminate waste, enhancing the consumer experience, continually delivering solutions that are simple and easy to implement, and providing ideas that are driven by a relentless commitment to sustainability.

A community kickoff event is being held May 12 at the Coyote Library from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm to meet community members and share information about the organization.
