The NOW Massage, a wellness brand transforming the therapeutic massage space, announces plans for its first Arizona location in Scottsdale. The NOW Massage boutique will be located within The Shops at Zocallo, near Scottsdale Quarter and Kierland Commons, at 15435 North Scottsdale Road and is expected to open this winter.
“We are excited to open our first Arizona boutique and continue The NOW’s national expansion by bringing our unique aesthetic and elevated massage experience to the Scottsdale community,” said Don Michael, president of The NOW Massage, headquartered in Los Angeles.
The NOW Co-Founder + Chief Creative Officer Gara Post graduated from Arizona State University and has always had Scottsdale high on the list for national expansion. “Although Arizona has become a mecca for wellness tourism, we saw there was a void in the greater Phoenix area for a next level massage experience in an inspired space, without committing to the time and expense of a full-service spa. Part of our philosophy is incorporating self-care into one’s routine without it being cost prohibitive or impossible to schedule. We know The NOW, an oasis in the city for relaxation and healing massages, will be a perfect fit in the community,” she told In Business Magazine.
The NOW has reimagined the approachable luxury of a neighborhood spa with quality massages and custom enhancements that offer relaxation and healing. The boutique’s clean, modern design incorporates natural materials and is heightened by the scent of their signature Jasmine Coconut candles.
Each NOW massage boutique uses canvas draping to separate therapy spaces creating an open, airy feeling that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Massage therapists receive advanced training on The NOW’s custom services that go far beyond the traditional modalities and are designed specifically for stress relief, health improvement and relaxation.
At The NOW, guests can choose between three signature massage styles and pair their service with a variety of custom, exclusive enhancements. The Swedish-inspired options include: The NOW, a signature relaxation massage; The HEALER, an energy-balancing massage designed to reduce stress; and The STRETCH, a sports-inspired recovery massage. Guests can choose from custom enhancements such as herbal heat therapy, deep tissue, soothing eye masks, Calm Balm, and Gua Sha, a traditional Chinese medicine technique that uses smooth rose quartz tools to target specific areas of the body.
The NOW branded product line and custom jewelry collection, designed by Co-Founder + Chief Creative Officer Gara Post, is available at boutiques and online for guests who want to bring a piece of The NOW lifestyle home with them.
“The NOW was founded on the principle that in today’s fast paced society self-care is a necessity, not a luxury,” said Gara Post. “We designed the boutiques to feel like an oasis for recovery and relaxation.”
Founded in 2015, The NOW Massage operates four locations in Los Angeles County with more than 50 new locations planned across the U.S including Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Nashville, Raleigh, Ashburn, VA, and Scottsdale, AZ.
