Paddy O’ Furniture, an Arizona-based outdoor furniture company that has been in the Valley for more than 30 years, is excited to announce the launch of a new, made in Arizona, furniture collection, Patriot, available in showrooms on October 1st.
“Creating a product line that is both environmentally sustainable and high-quality, and that can withstand the harsh Arizona climate, has been a long-standing goal of ours” said Zach McMillen, president. “The new Patriot Cushion Collection is the perfect combination of these pillars.”
The Patriot Cushion Collection is constructed out of HDPE, made from recycled milk and laundry detergent jugs and other plastics, and can withstand harsh outdoor climates with little maintenance. HDPE plastic lumber is a strong and durable building material that can be customized for a wide variety of commercial, residential and structural solutions. Sourced from post-consumer and post-industrial sources, like milk jugs, it is an environmentally friendly material. The new product line includes a club chair, loveseat, chaise lounge, dining chair, balcony stool, rocking chair, ottoman and sofa.
“HDPE is the perfect material for outdoor living because it is non-toxic, and no harmful emissions come from it during production,” said McMillen. “Research has also shown that it can be recycled up to 10 times, meaning that even when our customers are done with their Patriot collection pieces, they don’t have to worry about harming the environment.”
The collection is made in Arizona at the company’s first manufacturing facility in Phoenix’s Deer Valley Airpark. The new facility created a variety of jobs and produces an average of 200 pieces per month.
This is the second new collection that Paddy O’ Furniture has launched in 2021. The first, the Peninsula Cushion Collection, offers 17 furniture pieces with clean lines and a sleek design. Constructed out of lightweight, graphite colored powder-coated aluminum, the frames for these pieces are durable and built to endure the harshest outdoor environments.
Both collections include Paddy O’s exclusive Bliss Cushions – made in America with a durable, chambered construction for ultra-plush comfort and an outer fabric that is fade-resistant, waterproof and easy to clean.
