New Yoga, Coffee and Local Art Concept Opens in Scottsdale

Blue Buddha Collective

Blue Buddha Collective, a family-owned yoga studio and espresso bar, is set to open on August 7, 2021 located at 423 N. Scottsdale Rd. The new concept aims to become Scottsdale’s go-to for yoga, espresso and local art. This retreat is perfect for health and wellness enthusiasts looking to connect on the mat, and over a cup of coffee.

Blue Buddha Yoga will offer eco-friendly, infrared heated yoga and B-Fit classes, barre and yoga nidra. These classes promote flexibility and increased circulation, breathwork, as well as pain relief, weight loss, and stress and anxiety reduction. Class options will include Blue Hatha Yoga (also offered in Spanish), Buddhaflow, Buddha Barre, B-FIT and Yoga Nidra/Sound Healing, and will be available seven days a week. Guests and members can also enjoy non-heated classes. To sign up and reserve a class spot, participants must download the MindBody fitness app.

“I’m so excited to welcome yogis, espresso enthusiasts and artists alike through Blue Buddha’s doors,” said Karin Fellman, Founder and Owner of Blue Buddha Collective. “I am passionate about life and yoga, and I look forward to continuing my journey in an exciting new way with our unique new concept in wellness.”

To celebrate its grand opening, Blue Buddha Collective is offering an exclusive Club Blue Premier Membership for $80 per month for the first 50 people that sign up to enjoy unlimited classes. Other membership options will include a five class pass for $75, a 10 class pass for $130, a monthly pass for $95, a 25 class pass for $275, as well as a Buddha Batch for $59, which covers three classes and three beverages from the Buddha Café. Additional memberships and packages are detailed on the website as well. Yogis can purchase a single class for $17. Mat and towel rentals will be available.

“Our main goal is to promote whole health from the inside out. At Blue Buddha Collective, yoga, espresso and art meet, which creates a wonderful experience and environment,” said Samantha Macias, Owner of the Blue Buddha Café. “We’re looking forward to connecting with our local wellness community and promoting good vibes and great coffee at the same time.”

Student and customer safety are Blue Buddha Collective’s highest priorities. The studio is outfitted with UV lights, antimicrobial PEM flooring in the yoga room, and hospital grade air filters in the café. The yoga space is equipped with clean Infrared Light Therapy – Radiant Heat Panels, rather than a forced air system. These panels create heat without blowing dust and allergens around, as well as leave a greener footprint. Building the studio from the ground up has given Blue Buddha Collective a chance to source the highest quality materials. Students will be verbally screened by their instructor before they join the class. The Blue Buddha Collective team asks that if anyone is not feeling well to please remain at home, to ensure the safety and health of all participants. The café and yoga studio will be cleaned and sanitized regularly throughout the day. Blue Buddha Collective has an open air concept in both the yoga room and café, designed to allow fresh air to circulate throughout. Additionally, baristas are held to the highest standard of customer and health safety, and comply with all Maricopa County Health Department guidelines.
