Premier hot air balloon operator Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Company opened its new facility in Glendale last week. Wednesday marked the first day it welcomed flyers to the beautiful new space, located at 7934 N Glen Harbor Blvd, and to experience a new elevated view of the Valley.
The nearly 14,000 square foot facility, built by Ganem Construction, was designed to maximize the client experience. It features a beautiful steel entry element inspired by a balloon burner. Once inside, the building incorporates a client check-in area, where passengers meet their pilot, shop for merchandise, and get a sneak peek through windows into the hanger, where their adventure begins. The new office will eventually feature an event space capable of hosting weddings and other special occasions.
“We are excited to now be operating out of the West Valley and welcoming passengers to our new custom facility,” says Scott Appelman, Founder and CEO of Rainbow Ryders. “The larger space allows for more growth opportunities in the Valley and we can’t wait for everyone to experience what we have in store for 2024 and years ahead.”
Rainbow Ryders started offering hot air balloon flights in the scenic Rio Grande Valley back in 1983 and has grown to become the premier and largest hot air balloon ride company serving the Southwest, with flights offered in Phoenix, Albuquerque, and Colorado Springs with its forty-balloon fleet. The company credits its success to providing unrivaled customer service, pilot expertise and safety, along with being the ultimate bucket list experience.
To celebrate the opening of the new office, Rainbow Ryders will be hosting a grand opening celebration in early 2024 along with a special promotion for flights.
