Phoenix-based global design firm Ideation Design Group is spearheading a drive-thru dining revolution with the design of Angie’s Prime Grill, the latest venture by Salad and Go creators, Tony and Roushan Christofellis. After the success of Salad and Go, Angie’s Prime Grill sets a new standard in culinary excellence, offering hot-off-the-grill prime meats and seafood in a one-of-a-kind new fast casual concept that brings the flavors of a high-end steakhouse to the drive-thru.

After the sale of Salad and Go in 2020, the Christofellis duo introduced Angie’s Lobster in 2022, offering lobster meals starting at $9.99 from six Valley drive-throughs. Now, Angie’s Prime Grill takes this success a step further, featuring USDA prime top sirloin steak, organic chicken, and wild-caught shrimp in rice bowls, burritos, and salads.
Angie’s Grill has partnered with Ideation Design Group as the company ramps up its expansion plans for both its Angie’s Prime Grill and Angie’s Lobster concepts, with the foodservice division of the prominent design firm playing a pivotal role in designing this innovative drive-thru model. The project marks a significant evolution in upgrading the “quick serve” drive-thru experience, introducing ‘hot-off-the-grill’ prime meats, seafood and chicken served as bowls, salads, wraps and burritos served hot and fresh faster than any other QSR in the marketplace.
Ideation Design Group and the Angie’s Prime Grill team collaborated seamlessly throughout the design, build, and rollout process, ensuring every aspect of the drive-thru resonates with the culinary ethos of Angie’s Prime Grill. This involved creating customized solutions to align the drive-thru experience with the brand’s commitment to quality, speed, and customer satisfaction, featuring a specialty grilling platform and state-of-the-art operations models. The in-house culinary staff, in collaboration with Ideation Design Group, perfected every inch of the concept to ensure the preparation and delivery of hot, freshly grilled, and high-quality food, operating on a cashless system for enhanced efficiency.
Current developments include four Angie’s Lobsters under construction across metro Phoenix, with additional locations planned. Future expansion aims for eight Angie’s Prime locations in metro Phoenix, setting the stage for a massive nationwide rollout.
