Enterprise Holdings

Enterprise Holdings, owner of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, is showing gratitude to employees for their extraordinary commitment during the most challenging year in Enterprise’s history by giving all 80,000 of them $100 to enjoy at a local restaurant. By enabling all full and part-time employees to inject $8 million into the more-than-9,500 neighborhoods where they live and work, Enterprise is supporting small businesses and the rich cultures of our local communities.

Today, March 5, 2021, Employee Appreciation Day, employees will be notified of their $100 gift. U.S. employees will receive or choose a local restaurant gift card to use at beloved local restaurants.

Throughout the global pandemic, Enterprise employees have demonstrated exceptional commitment to serving customers and partners, and supporting each other. This Employee Appreciation Day gift is Enterprise’s way to say “thank you” to its amazing team, while saying “we’re here for you” to countless local restaurants and the families that depend on them. How: Local Enterprise teams determined neighborhood, non-chain restaurants and establishments that represent the communities the company serves and offer a variety of regional and global cuisines. The company purchased $100 local restaurant gift cards to distribute. Employees can treat themselves at these local small businesses and support their community.

“Since the earliest days of the pandemic, Enterprise Holdings employees have shown their dedication to our business like never before. In recognition of Employee Appreciation Day, we wanted to provide a small token of our appreciation. We’re giving each employee $100 to enjoy a meal and support a local restaurant in their community—to a cumulative effect of $8 million. We look forward to paying it forward to another industry hard hit by the pandemic because when we invest in them, we live out one of our company’s guiding principles: Strengthen our communities, one neighborhood at a time,” said Chrissy Taylor, Enterprise Holdings president and chief executive officer.
