After closing its doors following a fire in April 2025, Arcadia eatery Eat Up Drive In is officially reopening and inviting the community back with a grand reopening celebration on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Located in the heart of Arcadia, Eat Up Drive In offers dine-in, drive-thru, takeout and curbside service, and remains a go-to neighborhood spot for families, kids and comfort-food lovers alike.
Originally opened in April 2021, the locally owned restaurant is known for its “cooked slow, served fast” comfort food, from crispy chicken tenders and wood-grilled steak to its famously oversized baked potatoes. Now fully refreshed and updated, Eat Up Drive In is debuting several new additions, including breakfast service, making it easier than ever to enjoy this neighborhood favorite any time of day.
The refreshed menu now includes daily breakfast service from 8 to 11 a.m., featuring items such as Overnight Oats, Avocado Toast, a hearty Breakfast Burrito, sausage-and-egg sandwiches, a turkey-and-avocado “Sandwich #2,” and a Croissant Sandwich layered with bacon, ham, Havarti and cage-free eggs. Guests can also enjoy a lineup of new ice cream shakes in vanilla, chocolate, banana vanilla wafer, and gluten-free chocolate chip cookie, alongside a full espresso coffee menu.
Beyond breakfast, the restaurant has added new salads, sandwiches and sides, reinforcing its longstanding commitment to offering vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options—a hallmark of the concept since opening.
To celebrate the reopening, Eat Up Drive In will host a grand opening event in the parking lot from 11 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, January 17. The event will feature a special appearance by the local Arcadia Fire Department for a show-and-tell experience, as well as a complimentary lemonade and cookie stand for guests.
