Alston Construction, a privately held national general contractor marking its 40th anniversary this year, announces the relocation of its Arizona Business Unit to a new Tempe office. Alston’s Arizona team now operates out of 2190 E. Elliot Road, Suite 330, Tempe, AZ 85283, serving developers, owners and tenants across one of the country’s most active construction markets. The new space supports the team’s continued growth as it builds on a track record of delivering large-scale warehouses, manufacturing, cold storage and mission-critical projects throughout the Valley.
A significant part of Alston’s recent growth in Arizona has come from the addition and expansion of its Mission Critical division, which was established approximately 18 months ago. At the same time, Alston’s Industrial business continues to grow across the Valley, building on the company’s established presence in warehouses, manufacturing and cold storage construction. Together, the continued growth across both areas has increased the need for additional office and operational capacity.
To support that growth, Alston has named Vince Graumann Operations Manager for the Arizona Business Unit. Graumann brings more than 20 years of industry experience, with a track record in continuous improvement, mentoring high-performing teams and building long-term client relationships.

Industrial construction remains Alston’s core specialty nationally. The company was ranked No. 7 on Building Design+Construction’s list of the Top 10 Industrial Sector Construction Firms and No. 3 on Engineering News-Record’s Top 25 Warehouse/Distribution Builders. Those rankings reflect the breadth of Alston’s work across metro Phoenix and throughout Arizona, including Brooklyn Bedding’s 648,165-square-foot manufacturing headquarters in Glendale; Mack Innovation Park in Scottsdale, a two-phase, roughly 1.08-million-square-foot tilt-up spec warehouse development; Phelan Pecos Center I in Mesa, a 476,898-square-foot, three-building warehouse project; and Elliot Mesa Commerce Center, also in Mesa, delivered for MIG Real Estate.
