Through AZ Careers NOW, the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation and Career Connectors are partnering to connect local Business & Office Administration employers to job seekers. The event will feature a virtual hiring and training expo where employers will present their open positions via Zoom with potential job candidates. Educators will be involved, as well, to discuss certification and training opportunities with job seekers.
“From 2021-2023 Arizona projects 127,168 job openings in the Business & Office Administration industry. Due to this increase in demand, we will continue to connect industry employers with eager job seekers to recruit and retain top talent,” said Jessica Pierce, CEO, Career Connectors.

According to the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity, employment in business & office administration support occupations is projected to grow 5.9% from 2021 to 2023 with total projected employment of 467,695.
“The Foundation continues to focus on partnering with employers in the Business & Office Administration industry to provide free, accessible, hiring opportunities and employ Arizonans in high-wage, high-demand occupations,” said Jennifer Mellor, chief innovation officer, Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation. “Through AZ Careers NOW, we offer employers opportunities to hire prepared candidates quickly as we provide job seeker training resources throughout the process.”
