Better Business Bureau of the Pacific Southwest, Central & Inland California (BBB) will be hosting the 8th annual Industrious Women’s Summit from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the BBB Business & Community Center.
As Tierra Terry, Director of Program Engagement and Culture Development at BBB noted, although women are driving change across industries that have been traditionally male-dominated, opportunities that are designed to support women’s growth and leadership are still far too limited.
“The Industrious Women’s Summit is more than an event—it’s a movement rooted in community, connection, and the courage to lead boldly,” Terry said.
“Each year, we’re honored to create a space where women across industries can feel seen, supported, and inspired to keep pushing boundaries. The energy and impact of this summit remind us that when women rise, entire communities thrive.”
The Industrious Women’s Summit will kick off with “Breakfast, Networking and Booths,” which will give women the perfect chance to connect with fellow attendees and enjoy a light breakfast before the keynote speakers and other presentations begin.
After welcoming remarks and an introduction to the summit, a number of speakers will present at IWS; this includes Karen Nowicki, Founder of iNudge LLC, who will inspire attendees with her “Breakfast Chardonnay: Leading with Grit, Grace & Guts” presentation, Jessica Zoraida, CEO and Founder of Big Picture Results, who will discuss financial literacy essentials for women in business, and keynote speaker Adelaida V. Severson, PhD., President and CEO of Bushtex Inc.
“I am excited and humbled to be the keynote at the 8th Annual Industrious Women’s Summit in August,” Severson said. “I just think it’s really important for women in any kind of leadership role to be mentors and to help the future generations of women up and coming as much as we can. I can’t wait to share my journey, connect with women leaders, and spark meaningful conversations along the way. Let’s empower, uplift, and grow – together.”
