On May 20th, Vestar will break ground on Phase 2 of construction, featuring anchor tenant Target, marking significant progress towards its anticipated grand opening in Fall 2025. Spanning a total of 260,000 square feet, Vineyard Towne Center will offer a diverse mix of retail shops, services, and dining options to the heart of the growing Queen Creek community.
“This important milestone brings us closer to the completion of Vineyard Towne Center. Now that this project is nearly 100% leased, it reaffirms our vision from day one, which was to bring a premium shopping experience to the Queen Creek community. We look forward to kicking off Phase 2 in May, taking us one step closer to our grand opening next year,” said Jeff Axtell, Executive Vice President of Development for Vestar.
With Phase 2 now 100% leased, excitement builds for the grand opening next year. Joining the line up next Fall will be McDonald’s, Verizon, Petco, Mattress Firm, My Dr. Now, Better Buzz Coffee, Zaxby’s Restaurant, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, and Mountain America Credit Union.
This month, in Phase 1 of the project Keep It Cut Hair Salon, Crown One Beauty Supply, and Wingstop have opened their doors and are ready to serve Queen Creek and its neighboring communities. Coming soon, Over Easy, Café Rio, Academy Bank, and Cinnaholic will open in May, while newly signed tenants Lifequest, Cadence Running Company, and Thai Chili 2 Go will follow shortly after, opening this summer.
Queen Creek continues to experience rapid growth, solidifying its position as one of the nation’s fastest-growing suburban areas within the expanding Phoenix metropolitan region. Vineyard Towne Center is one of five new projects Vestar is developing in Arizona. Queen Creek Crossing in addition to Verrado Marketplace, Laveen Towne Center and The Shops at Lake Pleasant are also in various phases of construction and development.
