Common Bond Development Group, the award-winning team behind class-leading lifestyle destinations such as The Global Ambassador and The Park at 83, has announced the completion of development and a lineup of tenants coming to Eastmarket at Eastmark, anchored by the forthcoming grand opening of Sprouts Farmers Market on September 18. The debut of Sprouts marks the official launch of the vibrant 6.6-acre lifestyle center and kicks off the rollout of a robust tenant lineup serving Mesa’s flagship master-planned community.
With the 50,500-square-foot specialty retail center now leased and its grocery anchor officially opening to the neighborhood, Eastmarket at Eastmark will serve as the submarket’s premier daily hub for fresh groceries, curated dining, health and wellness, and essential community services.
“Our strong leasing efforts alongside the opening of Sprouts Farmers Market marks the full realization of our vision for Eastmarket at Eastmark,” said Brian Frakes, Founder and President of Common Bond Development Group. “Our goal from day one was to deliver a complete, high-performing commercial hub tailored to the Eastmark community. With Sprouts opening and a roster of regional and national tenants joining them, Eastmarket is positioned to drive daily connection, traffic, and long-term value for years to come.”
Situated at the northeast corner of East Ray Road and South Ellsworth Road, Eastmarket was designed by PHNX Design and Suite 6 Architecture + Planning as a walkable, pedestrian-friendly gathering space. Anchored by a 23,299-square-foot Sprouts Farmers Market, the newly completed center features a hand-selected mix of tenants, including First Watch, Qdoba, SoFresh, Petersen’s Ice Cream, Pacific Dental Services, GoodVets, Zara Nails, Lapels Dry Cleaning and PNC Bank.
The completion and occupancy of Eastmarket come as Common Bond accelerates momentum on experience-driven, daily needs hubs across high-growth corridors in the Southwest. Among its upcoming developments is the Shops at Halo Vista in North Phoenix, an 11.2-acre retail and hospitality destination serving as the gateway to the 2,400-acre master plan surrounding TSMC Arizona, featuring 33,600 square feet of curated dining and retail and a 253-room dual-branded Marriott hotel. Common Bond is also expanding its grocery-anchored portfolio with a new Sprouts-anchored lifestyle center in Goodyear’s Estrella master-planned community.
