Hospitality Capital Partners is expanding its Arizona hospitality portfolio with the openings of Hotel Solaya JdV by Hyatt in Old Town Scottsdale and The 233 Suites Unscripted by Hyatt in downtown Mesa. Together, the properties introduce Arizona’s first JdV by Hyatt and first Unscripted by Hyatt soft brand while growing the firm’s hospitality footprint across the state to more than 1,500 rooms.

Hotel Solaya, located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, is a newly reimagined six acre, 194-room lifestyle hotel that blends bold design, resort-style amenities and an energetic social atmosphere just steps from the city’s renowned dining, nightlife and cultural attractions. Formerly operated as The Monarch and The Saguaro Scottsdale, the property recently underwent a comprehensive $17.6 million transformation featuring refreshed guest rooms and suites, art-forward common spaces, upgraded culinary concepts, a vibrant outdoor pool experience, spa and wellness amenities, and flexible indoor and outdoor event venues.

The property, located in Scottsdale’s Civic Center Park, also features multiple on-site dining concepts, including Common Ground Bistro and Ella on the Park, alongside more than 15,264 square feet of meeting and event space designed for gatherings ranging from corporate events to weddings and celebrations.

Complementing the Scottsdale opening is The 233 Suites Mesa, a boutique extended-stay hotel located within a new six-story mixed-use development in the heart of downtown Mesa’s revitalized Main Street district. Positioned at 233 E. Main St., the property features 76 suite-style guest rooms with full kitchens alongside new dining concepts, including Crust Simply Italian, Bombilina’s pastry concept and a forthcoming speakeasy planned for later this year. The development will also introduce approximately 13,000 square feet of Class A office space and is within walking distance of Arizona State University’s new film school and East Valley campus, as well as the area’s growing mix of restaurants, entertainment venues and business offerings. The venue also offers convenient access to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

“Hotel Solaya and The 233 Suites Mesa each bring something distinct to Arizona’s hospitality landscape,” said Keith Mishkin, co-managing partner of Hospitality Capital Partners. “From the energy and character of Old Town Scottsdale to the continued growth and revitalization happening in downtown Mesa, both properties are exceptionally positioned to serve visitors while contributing to the momentum we continue to see across the region.”

“Arizona continues to experience remarkable growth as both a tourism destination and business hub,” said Parimal “Primo” Parmar, co-managing partner of Hospitality Capital Partners. “Both properties offer strong fundamentals in markets with sustained demand, while also creating opportunities to elevate the guest experience and operational performance over time. We are proud to work with Hyatt on bringing these distinctive hospitality concepts to Arizona.”

The additions further strengthen Hospitality Capital Partners’ growing presence across Arizona and the western United States as the firm continues pursuing hospitality investments in high-growth markets throughout the Southwest and West Coast.

HCP and its principals have previously owned and operated nearly 50 hotels across the western United States and continue focusing on hospitality and golf assets with strong market fundamentals, high-demand locations and long-term value creation opportunities. Today, the firm oversees a growing portfolio of hospitality and real estate investments while maintaining an active pipeline of future acquisition opportunities.
