Tudo Capital, an innovator in modular housing, announced the completion of its first project, “Stacks on Polk”, a 19-unit modular building in Phoenix made of 45 recycled shipping containers. The modules were fabricated in Tudo Capital’s factory in Hermosillo, Mexico, then shipped to Phoenix fully certified and compliant with the latest Phoenix International Building Code.
Located just off Loop 202 at 53rd Street and Polk, this apartment complex is located minutes from Sky Harbor Airport, and local attractions like the Desert Botanical Gardens and the Phoenix Zoo. These units are available for rent starting at $1,250 a month.
Founded in 2019 by Evan Glickman, Tudo Capital produces multi and single-family buildings in its vertically integrated factory for final assembly at project sites across Mexico and the southwest United States. Each unit comes fully equipped with insulation, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and is certified to the pertinent building code for its final site. Tudo Capital is the only Arizonan-licensed modular multifamily manufacturer producing out of Mexico.
“Our mission is to reduce the cost of housing production,” said Glickman. “By utilizing recycled materials, new code paths, and using lower cost labor in our Mexico facility, we are able to significantly cut project costs compared to site-built projects. We pass these savings on directly to our development partners, offering modules below $100 / square foot, 30% lower than comparable traditional construction.
