The wait is over for Queen Creek residents and visitors looking to stroll the aisles of Target without straying far, with Vineyard Towne Center’s new 145,000-square-foot retail store now open for business at 37854 N Gantzel Road. Developed by Vestar, one of the largest privately held shopping center owners and managers in the western United States, the new store represents an exciting new addition to the town’s expanding retail landscape.
Queen Creek’s new Target store officially opened Sunday, Oct. 12, drawing crowds who came to get a glimpse of the new space and score Target-branded tote bags they can use on future shopping trips. Arizona’s newest Target anchors the surrounding 23-acre Vineyard Towne Center and includes Target Optical, a CVS Pharmacy, a Disney Store, an Apple Store and an in-store Starbucks. The location also offers convenient fulfillment options including Drive Up, Order Pickup, same-day delivery with a Target Circle 360 membership, and next-day delivery for all Queen Creek residents.
“This Target location has been years in the making, and we’re thrilled to officially open our doors to the public. When this project first began in 2019, we recognized the need for convenient, high-quality shopping options close to home. The new Target location joins other Vineyard Towne Center tenants, including Sprouts Farmers Market, Mountain America Credit Union, Academy Bank, LifeQuest, Cadence Running Company, Verizon, Mattress Firm, My Doc Now, Pet Supplies Plus, Zara Nail Bar, Dentists of Queen Creek, Keep It Cut, European Wax Center and Crown One Beauty Supply. Dining options include Five Guys, Better Buzz Coffee, Thai Chili 2Go, McDonald’s, Over Easy, Café Rio, Cinnaholic, Zaxby’s, Nekter Juice Bar, Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop, Wingstop and Ono Hawaiian BBQ.
Vineyard Towne Center’s new Target is open from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. In addition to Vineyard Towne Center, Vestar owns and operates Queen Creek Marketplace and manages Queen Creek Crossing, with all three destinations catering to the needs of the fast-growing Queen Creek community.
