UMB Bank, a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation, announced the opening of a new Phoenix-area branch. The new full-service branch, located at 2745 W. Carefree Highway, and in close proximity to the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s north Phoenix fab site, is strategically located from both a community investment and business opportunity perspective.

During the past 10 years, UMB’s loan balances in Arizona have grown from $896.7 million to $4.14 billion—a 362% increase. In addition, the bank has increased its local deposit market share position from #14 in 2015 to #10 as of 6/30/25. Overall, UMB has 13 branches and 188 total associates across Arizona, 132 of them based in Phoenix.

This branch opening follows UMB’s new branch opening in Utah in December 2025, its first branch in the state.
